Why do you love me?
I can no more answer that than explain God
I just do, love needs no reason

How can you love me?
I felt my soul touch yours, distance is irrelevant
The very essence of me loves you

How can you tell that its really love?
You are my first and last thought of every day
My every cell seems to scream it at me

What if I don’t love you back?
I can only hope and wait and be patient
Maybe I have love enough for both of us

What if I break your heart?
I already know that you will but its out of my control
Love doesn’t follow any rules of logic

You keep getting better. I can picture this in an anthology of love poems.
