what I give unto you is that which cannot be seen
yet is not ephemeral in either spirit or substance
I give unto you my heart and soul
the total being that is me
and in doing so
I open myself unto you
and see my own reflection
within your gaze
this warms me and comforts me
and in the quiet moments of my reflection
I think of how my world could of ever been without you
and in that thought I come to the rock upon which I stand
