You suffocate me,
Give me my mask
And maybe I can
Breathe.
Your face
Is a fractured mirror;
It's no wonder
You can't see me clearly,
With slivers of glass
In your eyes.
Hate me for the things
I swear I never said.
Blindfold me,
Feed me to the lions.
This alter of pills
Wouldn't help me
Anymore than it did you.
Sweed medication,
I suspect it tastes
Like sugar.
