Blurred changes; foggy patterns
Of who I am and where I went
Changes of happy to sad
Of hopeful to hopeless
Turn around and see
That I am not the she you once knew
And loved or admired
For I am changing
Losing the me of my existence
Buried in ashes and dust
Piled up by years of neglect
Rotten toothed hag of disgust
Clean now turned to filth
Changes of good to bad
Gone are the days of dreams
Wishes and love
Gone is the real me
The me of yesterday
The me who changed
When love went away.
