I walk alone
on sandy beaches as slowly day fades to night
I walk alone
through city streets, where dreams lay in the gutters and vision has no sight
I walk alone
where fear grips my depths and races through my
mind
I walk alone
through bitter times and memories that linger, no
respit can I find
I walk alone
to the waters edge, cleansed of yesterday
I walk alone
into tomorrow
