so beautiful they silence me in passionately appreciative reverie.
I sit, head cocked, attempting to amplify what I'm listening for . . .
the universally resonating pulse of life,
the affirming silent sound of truth perceived
throbs gratefully in my chest
forces a smile to spread mingling
with tears of overwhelming relief:
Someone else feels this pulse beyond sex,
the pulse that swamps sex without excluding its constituency,
the pulse of life undenied
throbbing in raw, naked freedom.
You have bared your soul with a strength
that mocks your vulnerability;
floods the veins of your mind;
engorges your soul with goodwill.
