Who is this angular man who stands before me?

I feel his presence in the dark soft shadows.

Words unspoken, his burning eyes transfix me

and tell me what has been and what is to be.

Who is this man who invades the recesses of my soul?

I burn for Him, for the power He has over me.

A velvet glove over the steel of his inner core.

How has this closed man touched me?

How has this Man commanded me with his soul?

And in doing so, revealed himself unto me.

All words losing meaning apart

from the shared actions of our desires.

He who controls yet shows me His vulnerability.

Who is this Dark Knight before me?
