Sleeping, waking
coming together in the
half-sleep of pre-dawn, warm and
his sword's blunt hardness sliding into
her soft moist warm sheath
coming home

and falling asleep, there,
when the sweet spasm is over

waking
and sleeping
loving
can anything be better than this?
