An Ice cold stream
Thirty-two degrees
Alive with silk riffles and oceanic ambition
Cuts for miles through deep chasms

Dark eddies pull at particles
Building swirling mass

Just beyond a pine stand
The ground gapes open
Muted thunder simmering below
The piqued stream winds close and aware.

With a final heaving froth
It plunges downward
Dispersed by a hollow gravity
and subterranean structure.
