Click hereWake to the rustle of verbiage
Beating against cerebral interior
Like the wings of manic bats
Besieged by belfry walls
The crisp crackle of concept
Flows like current through conduit
Sparklers lit, halos aglow
Quick, as not to rest with the dead
Grab pad and pen resting on the nightstand
Scribble with fury, lest the pilot light blows.
You've always got to have that pad and pen ready when the muse decides to show his/her face. Mine tends to go off on holiday and forgets to tell me ... then when she returns, she expects my full and complete attention! Imagine that? Loved your analogy of manic bat wings! Great read!
Great great great - wrote it quickly so I would not forget...:-)
