I mean
even a Ferrari
doesn't always start
reliably,
because maybe a drained battery,
injectors clogged with sludge,
or some thin important wire that was cut
by accident
and left quivering
on the cool manifold.
But even dead, this car is fast
& if I must be a broken toy,
much better were I sleek and red.

I'm really getting sex vibes from the poem. Yeah, I know. Of course I would. lol I think it's an erotic poem and you're a hot car who just stalled -- momentarily. :)

You know Kooser is a big advocate to abolish the adversand and other signs, symbols and wonders that are short versions of others. I was thinking because of my height, I may also be abolished someday for impersonating someone taller.
Anyway.
