I want to sever the years between us,
portions of my life that time and I have wasted;
for I was nothing till you made me whole,
when the sweet breath of your soul I tasted.

The sharp exquisite pain of your love
wounds me with cruel, sweet desire,
and I know Love's dark desperation,
for it consumes my life with its fires.

I kneel in humble homage to you
and press my lips to your bare feet
in desire and unconditional surrender.
You own me now and forever when me meet.
