Wemba women crouch, palms beneath
their dark wood bottoms.
Never see them stir.
We are motion,

momentum toward our chairs,
where we sit,
squinting. No movement,

though figures could be kinetic,
like time-lapse bean sprouts.
Our spectacles have gone
missing. We suspect

they were slowly,
gradual as frame by frame,
spirited away.

:)

" time lapse bean sprouts." so visual, I could see the scene taking shape, albeit, in.....slow....motion.

I am so sorry I didn't get to your poems sooner. You are one poet I anticipate reading, you are an addiction, you Wicked thang ;)

Stellar

You are so amazingly gifted when it comes to making me visualize your meaning. "Frame by frame" so wonderful captured it all for me. Excellent!
