Night buses make one restless
And it is nearly impossible to sleep
With just a touch too little leg room
And the monotone darkness
Punctuated by the steady hum of the engine

All the curtains are pulled tight
So the early morning light won't disturb
Reading time ends after about 3 hours
Lights are doused and you're left alone
With your thoughts and your perversions

On my ride from Kochi to Osaka
I met a young man of 24
Kept looking back at him, smiling
He returned my gesture and I saw he had deliciously
Wicked, wicked glitter-black eyes

After many people had fallen asleep,
I crept over to the seat beside him
(The courage came from Nihonshu taken with dinner)
Spoke in Nihongo to make him easy. Then,
Having finished the small talk, progressed to more intimate matters

His tongue in my ear, against the hollow of my neck
A bit sudden, but I guess it was a tidal need in both of us
We were two people starving for release
At a most random crossing, and not weighing consequence
His tongue pushed so insistently against mine

Two random people locking lips
Strangers stealing from one another rations of love
So stingily divided among loved ones
Surely not to be squandered, but why is the actuality
Of that waste so provocative and completely delicious?

We sampled fears, desires, wishes, even, clinging so to
Each others' lips. I tasted the salt of his hard-working neck
I realized his passion in his willingness to accept
Such secret and unexpected lovemaking from the
Strangest of all possible strangers

Meanwhile, the other passengers slumbered soundly
Or perhaps some just only pretended
As we made our wet sounds of passion
Occasionally stopping to touch foreign cheeks
And peer into a set of alien eyes. Such tenderness in lust.

I don't remember his name, or whether or not he had one
What planet was his doorstep?
What trick of nature pulled us together for that interesting interlude?
Mysteries to be committed to our histories, yes.
Upon arrival, we returned to our respective worlds, lips afire
And we carried a beautiful secret home as a souvenir.

Very enjoyable. A little too long, though. The first 4 strophes give the reader a great story and could even be a complete poem. There are too many unneeded words after "progressed to more intimate matters." Leaves some things to the imagination and do more showing than telling. Still a good poem and it will be mentioned on the literotica poetry forum.
