Listening to the Dawn,
I slosh the tea in my cup
And watch the spent leaves
Settle to the bottom.

well done!

this is lovely and peaceful and has the feel of a traditional haiku. Very nice work!

beautifully silent

this poem is silent, in it's imagery. tranquil. yet simultaneously vivid. i could hear the sounds of dawn, and see the tea in your cup. leaves and all. a lovely read.
