you were surrendered unto world innocent
welling trust with fearless will to know
yet find yourself abandoned
cast and hardened in a crucible
a ceaseless rain of blows

to stumble naked muddy fields amidst
violence, mockery, measured list
in tracks that cling upon your soul
is blinded trust heart can not know the
shape of hand becomes a fist

with which you hide
your reddened eyes and wipe the bitter tears you cry
with which you choke
your sadness down a fight to grasp and hold in bound
with which you bang
upon the lid of chest within all feelings locked and

hidden, sit upon cold lonely throne
you dream of vistas not alone, yet wont believe the
shape of hand unfolded
fist abandoned, tears have molded fearlessness true
heart is reaching out of dream; i call for you
