I made love to you tonight
You were asleep in your chamber.
I reached out for salvation,
and my hands touched your eyes.
I longed for comfort too long,
then your lips broke on my lips.
My heart ached and I was crying,
and you caressed my existence, your hands.
I wanted to know my reason for existence,
and you gave yourself to me.
I wanted to be safe from all the evil
and my groping hands found your breast.
Yes, I am safe and secure; I am at peace
You were there for me when I needed you.
Someday, when we meet, I might ask you,
how was it to be my tormentor for long?
Dear life, lie not as its all I’ve received,
give me an iota of truth between lies.
Yes, indeed this is a lie too as I never...
made love to you, you were in your chamber.
