Our Little Plan

She takes me by the hand,
to prove she's in demand,
but the things she's left
they won't address to me


She breaks down in the sand,
moves me to understand,
that the words she's said
won't have meant a lot to me

I'd make you up a land,
so true, you'd take my hand,
and let me share in
the strange world you do believe.


I'd take you where you stand,
and lose our little plan,
to hold your thoughts
and words and melodies.

She's gone today,
she's been away from me,


I'd have to say,
she's lost my memory.
