Strung up in lights
All heat and fingers
Sheets mean you’re here
But no flesh beside me
Hard to breathe in
Like a party underwater
Heart dancing, sidestep your messy hair
The bone makes it hard
Flesh makes it soft
Your eyes expand 45%
When you see something pretty
Yours are huge but
I don’t trust your compliment
Just love me
Under cotton threads, in the dark
Where dreams sigh like you and me
Where our hearts touch
And I can breathe underwater
