MC Escher hasn't got shit on you -
true blue, robin's egg - baby.
He's nothing if not empty drawings,
while you, you are something.
You are the shaded features and
I'm the wiped away granite.
I'm not the pencil and you're not
the paper, but together we're the
crystal ball he looks into.
Without me, there's you. Without you,
there's me. And without us both,
There's always Escher.
