I touched her
And she came to me
Not once, but twice
And I loved her
The beauty of her skin
And the scent of her hair overcame me
Nights past
And there was distant music
She danced
And was light as air
We rode on horseback
And we kissed as if forever
But then morning came
And she was evanescent
And I was alone
In the morning it was over
Never again for her to come.
