One little duck pond, down by the sea,
One little duck pond, for you and for me,
Right in the middle of, the great big city,
De doodle, de doodle, de doodle de de.

In a flood basin, Marina Del Rey,
There is a place where folks throw pets away,
Some migrate in and just like it and stay,
De doodle, de doodle, de doodle de day.

There's rabbits and herons, geese, chickens and ducks,
A few hundred critters, just down on their luck,
Trying to find shelter, and a bit to eat too,
De doodle, de doodle, de doodle de do.

So give em' some time, or give em 'some bucks,
Don't let them starve, these geese, chickens and ducks,
Cause all of god's creatures should die naturally,
De doodle, de doodle, de doodle de de.
