took all your underwear
long pray flag string of them
colors of the rainbow
colors of the night,
you went commando the rest of the summer
my hand would slide
under your skirt
across your stomach into your jeans
behold your unshaven mound
slide a finger inside you

we would kiss and you would shutter
close your eyes and kiss me hard on the lips
our tongues would touch
like battery terminals with a flash and spark
pray flags danced in the breeze
all summer long …
