I am choking on dog shit!
it's the only thing stopping me from vomiting
or screaming.
my head is an abscess full of angry fire ants;
it buzzes like a tuning fork.
a vampire is squatting on my liver
pissing on my calm
waiting to burst out of my abdomen
waiting to enact vengeance on its own monster.
but it will be waiting till it is a tumour though
for its nemesis is long dead
and the vampire has been hibernating for a decade.
a literary séance snapped it awake
and there's nothing to kill tonight.
