from a shelf on the wall.
nickel-plated tubes rise up to the sink beneath me.
Bent and twisted drains down the floor.
The shower cabin next to.
You visit me frequently,
sometimes more than once a day.
The water is turned on now.
It sprays out from the showerhead like the mild spring rain.
I'm reached for on the shelf.
You rub me over your body.
Your soft skin is covered with me and the water.
I want you to use me,
I want to clean you up,
I want to feel the curves of your body,
when you brush me across my slippery remains,
when you rub the second time around,
just to feel yourself again.
The showerhead is still fastened above,
but I know it won't be long.
You do this every time.
Now that you're all soapy you put me away,
and reach for the showerhead above.
As you lean your back against the cold wall,
a shiver escapes,
drops on your thigh are shaken off,
and in one smooth motion,
the showerhead is where it's supposed to be.
Your eyes are closed,
but the grimaces on your face leave no doubt.
The water rushing against you is almost too much.
Your hands are over your body,
caressing your still slippery and all too sensitive skin.
The showerhead is pumping.
You hold it up close now.
Can you feel it?
You're getting close.
I can see it.
Your thighs are squirming by themselves,
your hips all over the place.
Your stomach is tense,
And you're trembling on your feet.
You're there.
By now it's a good thing the water is running loud,
You fall squirming and shaking to the floor.
Your heart pounding.
Slowly calming down you wash your hair.
Just another soapy shower.
This is my first submission and although I have been writing poetry for a while, this is my first attempt at anything sexual. I hope you'll enjoy it though and please let me know what you think, just keep it constructive. Thanks!
Well, that's a rather observant bar of soap. The next time you're taking a shower, kindly convey my regards and gratitude to that bar of soap for its services. :P
kinda makes me want to be a bar of soap, never thought I'd say that out loud.
I enjoyed your poem Nikkie - hope to read more of them in the future.
