Lovers share secret words,
Ensconced in each other,
Limbs intertwined, hands resting possessively,
Barely a noise heard as whispers abound.

Heedless of others in the room,
The two touch lovingly, words unneeded,
But spoken nonetheless,
Talking of hope, love, the future, and pain.

They share no thoughts with people.
If the walls had ears, they would be closed,
So sweet and loving is the scene to be overheard,
That they would be ashamed of themselves.

Tresspassing into their dream-world is futile.
Only they know the tune to which they dance.
Guesses would be unworthy of the name,
For none would even come close.

Her light perfume mingles with his cologne,
The two aromatics heightening the sensualness,
Making others jealous of their closeness,
Their overwhelming need for the other.

Soft strains of humming echo quietly,
As one sings to their partner.
The notes are as pure and untarnished
As their newfound love for the other.
