It’s only been a month
But it seems like so much more.
This petite, blonde came into my life
And now I long for more.
Her heart is what I seek.
Her kisses make me weak.
She’s beautiful and genuine.
Her soul pure and full of light.
Giving her my heart was easy.
There was no reason to fight.
I long for her embrace.
My heart finally in the right place.
I had to go through hell to get here.
I was so full of fear.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of being alone.
But out of the shadows I came.
My soul cleansed of all the pain.
I look to the future now with her by my side.
But will always remember the lessons I learned
When my spirit almost died.
