Shaking hands hold out for an anchor and find none
Bereft beaten and broken,
 its all finished, done
How can you look me in the eye
 and say those words
I hope your conscience plagues
 and kills you at night
I hope that you love once,
the way I loved you
So its you who walks the boards,
 til dawns first light.
Til murky black turns blue, you'll ache, like I ache for you.
