We've been through so much together,
Baby, there ain't nothing we can't say to each other.
Could be 'bout the sun and the weather,
Could be 'bout how we'll be forever.

I don't know when it happened,
When we fell so deep in love.
I never thought I'd need somebody,
The way I need you right now.

I can't stop leaning on you,
I won't stop crying on you,
'Cause you're the sunshine breaking through the clouds,
And making a rainbow from my tears.

I've seen you run the rainbow of emotions,
Been beside you through thick and thin.
Its hard for you to lean on me I know.

You don't know how happy I was,
When you sat down and took my hand,
Told me your problems, and said,

I can't stop leaning on you,
I won't stop crying on you,
'Cause you're the sunshine breaking through the clouds,
And making a rainbow from my tears.

As human beings, trust is hard to earn,
And even harder to keep.
Somehow, we've made it through...

And now the storm is here,
But you take my hand,
And I see the rainbow through my tears.
