On the plane
Coach-class rattle
With the other
Traveling cattle,

We found ourselves
Wedged together
Seat belts tight
Bumpy weather,

I said "hi"
You said "hi" too
I wondered what
It is, you do,

Both in our
Traveling best
Work jeans
Fleece vest,

About an hour
Into the flight
Knees together
Pressing tight,

We started talking
Nothing grand
You touched my knee
Then touched my hand,

A current ran
Up my spine
I looked your way
You looked mine,

In that gaze
We knew our fate
Needless to say
We stayed up late,
