everything is not always as it seems....

someones eyes are open yet they see nothing
someone knows what you are saying but hears none of it

even the sounds of the night heard through a window are very decieving...

the neighbors van door slides open and shut.
the grass rustles as a squirrel wanders by.
truck brakes squeek slightly in the distance.

when really...
the deck doors are sliding open as the child sneaks out..
the grass rustles as he sneaks accross the yard to his bike...
and the gate hinges squeek as he rides into the night..

so next time reconsider what you have already taken for granted. you may be surprised.
