Retrace footsteps not yet taken
does awareness tell a story

we know is the body talking
to the oak tree inside our mind

Can heart still have control of
nothing, yet everything

written silently on paper
wronged, speechless we walk

An intriguing poem - tomorrow everything written will probably be buried still - the paper may well not be read.
