The highest of highs
The lowest of lows
Are what it means to love
I suppose

Ride the best swells
And you're on top of the world
Or be smashed to pieces
Mother Nature unfurled

But pick them back up
You'll be whole again soon
No way to avoid
This bust and this boom

A cycle unending
As time marches past
The ups and the downs
The slow and the fast

But give yourself fully
Open wide your heart
Agony and ecstasy
Are only the start
