I sit in my coldest hour, broken and uninspired
I write these words with hope in my heart and ambivalence in my veins

My dear
Become the strings of my sorrow and the craft of my pleasures

Hold me in fires of the deepest black
And render me into ashes of the sweetest gray

Tear me apart and build again
Paint me with love, paint me with blood

Drown me in embers and leave me with scars
Give this heart reason to cry again
This I beg, my dear dark angel
