Melancholy smiles concealing cannibal teeth
Carnivorous guiles, searching for meat
A provocative mess
And he’s never missed a beat
I’ve got her lipstick on my conscience
And his eyes on me.

Mary, Mary
Had a little lamb, you see
She sacrificed that lamb
For a bit of extra time with me
Was that a fair trade
Innocence and peace
Exchanged for temporary passion
From mischievous beasts?
A provocative mess
And he’s never missed a beat
I’ve got her lipstick on my conscience
And his eyes on me.

A lover, a harlot, and a tortured soul
An ignorant child, and a gaping hole
In the warped perception
Of a sickening mind
With longing obsession
Together, they grind.
A provocative mess
And he’s never missed a beat.
