Untitled (For My Love)

I light the candle in the darkened window
Let it's glow guide you home
Back to me
For now my love safely go until once more
We can be in each other's embrace
It's been so long
Since I have felt like this
Drawn to the spark I see in your soul
The intelligence I see in your mind
The beauty I see in your eyes
It sets my soul on fire
There is a passion in every kiss, every touch
A love that we choose not to deny
Ours is a slow but lovely discovery
Learning as we go
We take our time, making what we have mean even more
There is no need to rush
We have all the time we need
Because ours is a dance, slow but passionate
Something so rare it makes my heart ache in joy
For never before have I felt so much tenderness, so much love
It leaves me in awe of you
To have your heart means so much, it is a treasure to me that I shall keep
And do my best never to harm
For you have my gift; my heart, my love
And I know you shall treasure them and keep them safe
Safe in your arms, safe in your hands
We know where we stand
By each other, hand in hand
Living together, our lives made better
Just by being together
We watch the stars, we thank fate
For we both have found what we truly desired
With three simple words that could never express the depth of how we feel
But saying them is a start
I love you
I love you...
