In solitude
It's safe,
Yet somber.

Light and laughter
Have disappeared.

Replaced...
By darkness
And despair.

No one
Can harm me,
But myself.

Shall I
End my pain,
Or persevere?

Hi from Robbin, author of the poem 'Darkness'

I've been busy working and traveling and just read your kind comments about my poem, 'Darkness.'

Please know, I'm fine and am not considering suicide! My life isn't perfect, but my faith in God always guides me through the rough times. Sometimes when I write, it's about my life...other times it's about people in my life, and 'Darkness' is about a dear friend of mine that is dealing with depression.

I love and thank you for your concern, and I'm sincerely sorry if I worried you.

Robbin

xoxo

Keep writing, Robbin

Persevere, Robbin. There are people in this world who love you!
