So, here I am again; I'm stumbling all around,
Yes, once more, I'm groping in the dark.
I'm not quite certain just what I've found,
I never really know when I've made that spark.

Love is like a Braille Museum,
I'm reaching around when nothing is really there.
Love is like a Braille Museum;
I'd have to feel it to know that you really care.

I'm alone and lost and I'm feeling quite confused.
Love is something I'll never comprehend.
Every time it happens I feel so used;
I always seem to get it in the end.

I'm moving so slowly.
Afraid to trip; I'm afraid to fall.
You seem so holy.
I just pray you won't let me hit the wall.

They say that love is blind; I don't think that's true.
I'd say the blind ones were you and I.
But if Eros has gone sightless, what can we do?
I felt you touch my heart and now I want to fly.

But love is like a Braille Museum,
I'm reaching out when nothing is really there.
Love is like a Braille Museum;
I'd have to feel it to know that you really care.

Thank you for reading

It's funny how the non-erotic things I write here tend to make a bigger impact. I'm very glad you both got this. I had some concerns someone might find the analogy offensive or a slight against sightless people; which is not my intention. It's amazing how often we blind ourselves when we claim to be looking for love.

Nicely Done

This one hit me. I learned recently to look for it and embrace it with confidence. Some one may get hurt but worth the gamble.

Apt analogy when hearts are separated by life circumstances, when love is simple people overlook (or don't even know) how easy they have it.
