We see each other when we can
And our phones give us more time to share
But work and travel limit our plans
And love stays new, our feet in the air

Our love now feels so free of strife
And every meeting is sexy and fun
Like living the happy side of life
Without problems, anger, things coming undone

We know someday that this will end
And become more of life, less of dream
Down more realistic paths we’ll wend
But for now we’re content in our movie scene

Nicely written

If I did not know any better I would be turning to look for the camera as what you wrote could mirror my life.

Haha, I was... having very similar thoughts just last night on how... early in a relationship things are thrilling and fun and later become so very real and ordinary. I almost wrote a poem about it myself.
