I held you in my heart
And loved you from afar
I bore my soul to you
Tore open old scars
I gave you all of me
Past, present, future
Opened my heart
Now I'm in need of a suture
Sew me up or let me die
I can only handle so much
Poison in my veins
Or healing in your touch
The choice is yours
I'm at your mercy
Unconscious on the operating table
Please resuscitate me
Is your love strong enough
To give me an oxygen supply
Or am I to wither away
Will our love die
