Upon my chest there is a zipper.
Sometimes, it is open.
Sometimes, it is closed.
Sometimes, it is open halfway.

Behind this fastener lies my heart.
Sometimes, I open this zipper.
Sometimes, I let others open it.
Sometimes, I only let my heart peek.

The zipper is there to protect me.
To keep my heart safe from harm.
The zipper holds in secrets.
Sacred, are those secrets to me.

Just don't get your heart caught on the zipper, I imagine that'd hurt like hell.
