Oft I dream.....meanderings
in the vacant valley of My mind
....I say valley
do ye conjure images of lush green trees
and flowing verdant meadows
....Nay...This be a broken forsaken 'xpanse of cindered earth....
cracked fissures and baked skin
....Those dazzling white sands reflect the Sun...
Rays of Sun as beat down on water
.....Water?....flesh....
stretched taut and Staked....
yea Staked and impaled
...dug deep and wretched be the fissured surface....
What did she do? save desire the same
....just not enough? That burning Sun,
hot coals under the skin
....long trails of mead and honey carefully laid out...
designs drawn and then left
....to Attract perchance....
to dribble Maybe
....He stood there ...
a Black Canopy fluttering over shimmering sands
.....she lay there...fertile...
an offering....could she give More....
she did ...as was her wont....
He needed ....and so Took....
Was He ever sated?
