In the haze over the water,
large spoons whirling,
Little boys sticking gum in their cheeks
...brown clouds, little drops of rain...
Sitting in the middle of the puddle
....agape and fixedly eyes gazing straight ahead....
Take Me there and let Me loose...
a Carrion eater? perchance a carnivore
...who will make Me and who will take Me....
songs of never -ending trills
....loud and perambulating,
Still the leaves fell and the drops grazed her pallor,
Turn the cheek and slide down the smooth arched neck
...Make that supple flesh writhe in ravenous
desires of consummated shoals....
The denizens of the Deep rise in writhings to the curl
....agape and filled as
They scoop them all up.....
Sieve the chaff and the baleen
....Will she keep Me....
as do all Others?....
