As I sit here and write to you,
I think of all the things we could do,
like holding hands,
walking bare foot on the sand,
running from the rain,
making love in front of a fire that's aflame.
As I sit here and think of you,
thinking of all the things we could do,
like flying a kite and talking all night,
going to the movies and dancing on Tuesdays.
As I sit here and want for you,
thinking of all the things we could do,
like a trip to the zoo and an ice-cream for two,
rides at the fare even the fast ones if I dare.
As I sit here writing to you,
words I have but few,
but thoughts I have, many I view,
one day I know our love will glow,
as our love making heats up the earth,
the warmth springing life into the land,
I will then know how life can be so grand,
as I hold your heart next to mine,
together we will make a future,
its all just a matter of time! ...
