Small ways to end things
little cockles held to the ear
Patience was never a strong point  and why not
Took away the gels of the sea and the knells
of the ways on the wayfarer
why did the ripples on the water
slow Me down
Long cadences and easy mifflings
she took the breath that lay on the winter scarpe
she played the vapour held on strings of finest piano wire

why not the heathen
                               who else would dare
and who else could?
