She knew she was dreaming, but it felt so real
The look, the touch and the sensuous feel
Satiny skin as soft as down
Hair as dark as pitch flowing upon shoulders 'round

This man, this man built like a warrior from the past
His strength and determination clearly seen in the gaze he cast
She was his desire, his obsession
He was her truth, her lover and ultimate confession

Sweeping her into arms strong enough to crush, yet gentle enough to heal
He placed kisses on her cheeks, her eyes and lips, for their love to seal
Did she know his name? Why no, he was never one to reveal
This was her dream lover, her protector, her provider, his identity a mystery but yet so real

The scars he bore on his chest and arms told of his savage pursuits and conquests
Rough were his whispers to make illicit requests
Weather burned bronze skin told of voyages across great lands near and far
She understood, she was his light, his vision, his guiding star

Through the sands of time her love called to the heart of this dream lover
A man? A myth? A monster? Only she knew what she was to discover
Surrendering her body to the whispers, the touches, the pleasures untold
She woke with a smile on her face as her eyes fell upon a note of what was yet to unfold

He woke with a jolt.

the dream left him breathless and frazzled.

always the same the same woman who haunted him all of these years.

thousands of years.

every time he got close he was never fasten enough.

she was always just out of his reach.

He could never save her never.

he was tired so tired

maybe this time.

a new jolt of meaning came to him.

he must never give up never.

Sorry couldn't get this out of my head i meant no disrespect.
