Abyss

He walks out
                                           on the balustrade        
High above the teeming
                                           life below.

she catches her breath,          
Her life in her throat.          
watches Him      
                                           and then joins Him.

        
together
in the early morning
                                           Sun      
bathed in the light
      
their Love
                                           flowers,
as the sky tinges      
                                           from blood red
                                                                       to just pink
and then
                                           azure blue.        
Does it really
                                           cover the world?
          
Astral projections        
coupling
amidst the heavens.        
fires burning        
incandescent,        
                                           nurturing the birth of stars.

        
Is their’s not a Creation      
joining      
                                           and Lifting them,
will their passion bathe
                                           all in their
                                                                       crimson stains?
