wow!!!

what a tale!! I would LOVE to hear you read this one. You just created that character? or is he real? you should write a book, I would read it, wonderful descriptions, just great, a very enjoyable read, I would add to my faves if I only could... :)

Great job

What a great portrait.

You can see the bar, smell the beer, and see the missing fingers.

I know guys like this...you painted them, and their home, perfectly

Gawd... I wish I had written this!

Lumbering along, painting a portrait of a guy that I know I've left a couple of bills and pile of change on the bar for.

Damn! This was rich and well done!

Glad I got on the boat

that was quite a ride. And the phrasing was like hearing him tell it himself. Brill!

*therm in the muddy Mekong-Charlie lost during recon. Ask him. He'l tell ya.

Great use of language

...to quickly bring the reader into the head of the main character, which was an interesting place to hang out for awhile. Thanks!

Thanks to Debbie...

I've now found Charlie. Long poems for me to read with

everyone coming in my office at work, but hey!...I'm

a navy man and I loved this. The timing and word choices

are good. I just wonder who could afford to sit in a bar

between Charlie & Debbie. These poems must of broke you

man.

I love this:

"Couldn't talk about it, he'd tell you, for hours on end,"

Awesome, awesome job Mutt. No surprises. Everything you write slaps me in the face.

Fantastic stuff. ;-)

The memories, real or imagined, live on in this tale. Will look great in the illustrated comic book version this man's creating!
