From both perspectives this is a tough situation. Dealing with past hurts and fears takes time, patience, perserverance and above all, empathy. Hopefully empathy on both sides from the start, but a good relationship can be built starting with the love and care of one of the partners. I'm looking foreward to see where this story takes the characters, and, perhaps the readers as well.
