It's a great story. I wonder what happened in John's past, but it's nice to see a strong, nice guy, instead of a wimp. Please keep writing them like this.

Sorry but this seems rather cheesy. Yes, there are the people who do Rennaissance Festival and play all those sorts of games, but their dialogue is a lot more approachable than this. I'd say this is the end of the story. If an author does not submit the next chapter of a story within a month or two of the last one, it's highly unlikely that they ever finish.
